There are two objectives of the Consortium Malawi country work:
Ephraim Chirwa is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Malawi, with an MPhil from Cambridge University and PhD from the University of East Anglia. His areas of research include organisation and performance of markets, farming systems and performance, poverty and food security analysis, technology adoption and the agrarian question, social safety nets, microfinance and rural financial institutions.
Dr. Blessings Chinsinga
A Senior Lecturer teaching Development Administration, Public Policy Analysis and Institutions and Development at the Department of Political and Administrative Studies, Chancellor College, University of Malawi. He holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Mainz. His areas of competence include agricultural production and HIV/ADS, and rural development.
